Trash is trending was a project we created in collaboration with the Media Communications program. We became the art directors, coming up with the concept, the brief, and the final design using the photography that the Media Communications students took. We wanted to create conversations around fast fashion and the effects it has on our environment, how clothes are made to be tossed in the trash because what’s “trending” changes, or simply the quality being so poor that it breaks down within a few wears.
